I began my career teaching 7th & 8th grade Computer Study Skills in Franklin, PA. In 2005 I became a Bobcat, and taught first grade for six years before moving to fourth grade in 2011. After six years in fourth grade, I decided to make the move to third grade. I am also an adjunct professor for Wilkes University of PA in the Instructional Media graduate program.
I am proud to be a Discovery Educator Network Guru in 'Creative Construction with Multimedia'. I also serve on the PA DEN Leadership Council and am a DEN Star. I have a passion for technology and education, and love exploring new technology tools for meaningful use in my classroom. I received the PAECT Teacher of the Year award in 2009, and in 2013 I was honored to receive the Academy of Arts and Sciences BAMMY Award for Elementary School Teacher of the year.
I love spending time with my two sons . I am their biggest fan and my favorite thing to do is to watch them play sports. I also love to travel and spend time with family and friends. The best way to contact me is by email.

I am excited to be entering into my 4th year as a Clarion Bobcat! My wife Beth and I moved our family into the Clarion area from Wilmington, NC. Together we have 3 wild and crazy boys! For the past 12 years I taught both 2nd and 3rd grades. This year promises to be engaging, challenging and rewarding as we will push these third graders to become independent learners by the time this year is up.
I look forward to working with you and your child to make this a successful year at Clarion.
