I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary/Early Childhood and Masters in Science Education from Clarion University. Being a Clarion Alumnus myself, I have always been a Bobcat fan and have great pride for our school! While I currently teach 4th grade, I have also taught 5th grade and have served as the elementary/high school gifted coordinator during my time with the district. The best way to contact me is by email.

I graduated from Edinboro University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1998. After graduating, I moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland where I taught fifth grade for two years. Maryland was great and I enjoyed my time there but I really missed the Pennsylvania landscape so I packed up and moved home. I worked as substitute teacher for a year and half before being hired to teach at St. Joseph Elementary in Lucinda. That's where I met my wife, Sheila. I taught everything from sixth grade to second grade at St. Joseph's. Not long after getting married, I accepted a teaching position with Valley Grove Elementary just north of Franklin. I taught fifth grade there for seven years before moving to fourth grade for three. While teaching at Valley Grove, I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. When the opportunity to teach in my home district came up, I couldn't let it pass by. I have been teaching at Clarion since 2014. The best way to contact me is by email.
My wife and I have two sons. In my spare time, I enjoy doing some light woodworking using mainly my scroll saw.
After graduating from Clarion University, I started my teaching career at Clarion Area in 1998 and currently I'm a fourth grade teacher. I have been very active in the school district with coaching football and basketball. I hope to provide an exciting atmosphere for the students learn and succeed.
