6th Grade

Mr. Brinkley

My name is Jason Brinkley. I started teaching at Brookville School District in 2005 before coming to Clarion Area in 2009. I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades. I am a Clarion Area alumni and I actually teach in the 6th grade classroom that I attended a LONG time ago. Prior to my teaching career, I was employed in the technology field serving as the Technology Coordinator for Keystone School District and Clarion County. I currently teach 6th grade Mathematics and Social Studies at Clarion Area Elementary School. My hobbies include, technology, music, gaming, sports and the outdoors. The phone number of the Elementary Office is 814-226-8118. A resource page that I use is www.mrbrinkley.net . If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.

Mrs. Hoffman

Before I started teaching at Clarion Area in 2017, I had been teaching for the past ten years in a variety of capacities.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA in 2005 and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College in Westminster, MD in 2013.

I teach Reading and Writing for all sixth grade students. Our google classroom is where you can find information about my classes and the other grade level subject areas! Please email me or call the school if you have questions or concerns. Looking forward to a great year!

Mrs. Toth

Sixth grade science, grammar, and spelling teacher here! I have been a teacher at Clarion Elementary since 2016. I graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) with a minor in Special Education. I also am super proud of my alma mater, Clarion Area! I graduated as a Bobcat back in 2008. I love teaching 6th graders to not only help them academically, but prepare them for the many responsibilities and high expectations they will face in the high school. In my classroom, I am always on the lookout for positive attitudes, work ethic, and tons of individuality. Sixth grade is so important in my student lives and I want them to learn to challenge themselves, advocate for their own education, and have a little bit of fun along the way. I also take those same expectations to the high school in the late fall as I coach Jr. High Girls' Basketball and attempt to "relive the glory days." I hope to continue to make a positive impact not only on my students young lives, but on the Clarion County Community. Please contact me through email.

Please feel free to take a look at my Google Classroom. My class code is rh3qjxx. You can find some important links and also classroom supplies that I ask students to try to acquire for this school year. Let's have a wonderful year together!
