This is the week every parent has been waiting all summer long for. The first day of school is this Wednesday.

A huge thank you to everyone one who assisted with the New Student Orientation on Thursday August 19, as well as everyone who attended. It was wonderful to see so many new faces.

With student withdrawals and registrations that have occured over the summer, some student schedules may change slightly from what was given back in May at our move up day. An announcement will be made in August when schedules have been finalized and available for student preview on their individual portals. New schedules will also be handed out the first day of school. Upon arrival students in grades 10 -12 can pick up their schedules in the library and students in grades 7 - 9 can pick up their schedules in the cafeteria.

Student who wish to have a schedule change must complete the "schedule change form" that can be located on the guidance office web page.

In the first mailing that went out from the High School Office, a sign off form for the Chrometouch notebooks was sent home. Please be sure to return the signed slip on the first day of school. The chromebooks will be distributed starting Friday August 27 through Tuesday August 31.

Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. and all students must report directly to the cafeteria until the 7:45 a.m. bell rings. Once the 7:45 a.m. bell rings students may head to their Period 1 class. Students must be in the building and in their classroom ready to learn no later than 8:00a.m. The school day will include Period 9 again and ends at 3:05 p.m.

Class meetings with the Principal will take place on the first day of school as follows:

  • Period 2 - Senior Class

  • Period 3 - Junior Class

  • Period 4 - Sophmore Class

  • Period 6 - Freshman Class

  • Period 7 - Grade Eight (8)

  • Period 8 - Grade Seven (7)
